Microcompacts are pistols known for their easy portability, usually achieved through a trade-off between grip quality and performance. The Belgian firearms manufacturer, FN (Fabrique Nationale d’Herstal), enters this market with its FN Reflex™ pistol, which we’ll discuss in this post.
Officially launched on April 12, 2023, the Reflex 9mm pistol replaces the FN 503, offering some improvements over its predecessor. The Reflex is available in two versions on the manufacturer’s website: FN Reflex and FN Reflex MRD.
It is a striker-fired pistol with magazines that hold 11 and/or 15 9x19mm rounds. Both versions have a rail for attaching flashlights or similar devices, and it is possible to purchase it ready for the mounting of red dots (MRD).
