“THE TRUTH ABOUT HUMAN TRAFFICKING
THERE ARE MORE PEOPLE TRAPPED IN HUMAN TRAFFICKING TODAY THAN AT ANY OTHER POINT IN HISTORY
Human trafficking is the SECOND MOST PROFITABLE ILLEGAL INDUSTRY in the U.S., second only to the drug trade.

“Human trafficking isn’t just a problem – it’s a global epidemic. The latest International Labour Organization (ILO) study estimates that a staggering 49.6 million people are currently living in modern slavery worldwide, with a whopping 27.6 million in labor and sex trafficking and 22 million in forced marriage. These numbers are on the rise, and it’s not just happening “over there” – an estimated 5.1 million people are in modern slavery on any given day in the United States alone. Child sex trafficking has been reported in every single state.”
Given this knowledge, what can one do to protect children? I’ve outlined these steps, which may not be seen as definitive but rather as a first step towards safeguarding your kids.
1. Information Security:
a) Avoid exposing your children on the internet. Photos that may seem innocent to you can appear very different in the eyes of a pedophile.
b) Monitor and control what your children do both online and in their physical surroundings. Sexual abusers often gain their trust gradually.
c) Keep your children’s routines known only to parents and the kids themselves. It’s nearly impossible for someone to kidnap a child that no one knows exists or where they are.
2. Don’t Trust Third Parties:
Be cautious of anyone who approaches your children, including workers, teachers, and even your own friends. Pedophiles and traffickers often exploit positions of authority to manipulate children.
3. Do You Know Where Your Kids Are Right Now?
Always be aware of your children’s whereabouts. If your response to this question wasn’t precise enough, reconsider the level of attention you are giving them.
4. Teach Children About Abuse:
It’s essential for children to understand when things are going wrong. While they may not comprehend the complexity of human trafficking crimes, they can recognize when an adult is attempting something inappropriate.
5. #KYLP – Kill Your Local Pedophile:
Please exercise caution here. I cannot openly advocate for the execution of these criminals, as that is not the point. #KYLP is a worldwide movement advocating for the death penalty for sexual abusers. While taking justice into your own hands is not advisable, it is crucial to be prepared to physically defend your children if necessary and ensure that criminals understand the consequences of threatening their safety.
Please, do not leave your children unattended.
